Things to Do
in the Langhe

The Langhe

The Langhe (or Langa in Piedmontese) stretch between the provinces of Cuneo and Asti, nestled between the Tanaro and Bormida rivers. This region features a mix of vineyard-covered rolling hills (Bassa Langa) and valleys with small, fortified hilltop villages (Alta Langa), where, along with vineyards, the prized “Tonda Gentile delle Langhe” hazelnut is cultivated. The Langhe are one of the top destinations for food and wine tourism in Piedmont, renowned for world-famous wines and their breathtaking natural, artistic, and cultural beauty. In 2014, twenty-nine municipalities across the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our farm is located in Rocchetta Belbo, the first village of the Alta Langa region, set in the Belbo Valley—famous for its winemaking traditions and its connection to the literary works of Cesare Pavese.

Alta Langa offers a rich landscape of woods, hazelnut groves, and vineyards—perfect for long walks in nature. It’s also in a central and strategic position: you can easily reach Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco, Acqui Terme, Neive, La Morra, and Asti by car. In less than an hour and a half, you can enjoy the sea breeze of Liguria or explore the elegant historic center of Turin.

Educational Farm

The experience of harvesting products directly from the field or tree—and then transforming them into something we’re used to buying ready-made—is one of the best ways to reconnect with nature. At our farm, you can take part in hands-on experiences suitable for all ages. Join us for saffron harvesting and processing, walks through the hazelnut groves to learn about this remarkable nut, or get your hands in the dough to create traditional local sweets. Write to us to book your educational farm experience!
